Is there a protection plan on iPods when you buy them?
Question by Daveykins: Is there a protection plan on iPods when you buy them?
I read on Apple.com that there is a complimentary 1 year protection plan on your iPod when you buy it, no matter where you buy it from. I got mine straight from Apple though so if it applies to any, it should apply to mine. My red iPod Nano recently just randomly quit working. It won’t turn on, it won’t reset, it won’t charge, and the computer doesn’t recognize it when it’s plugged in. It recognizes the regular iPod just fine, but not the Nano. I am pretty certain that it is broken so I want to send it in for a repair or replacement. How can I go about doing this?

go to the ipod section of the apple website. Look in the faq section, see if the problem isn’t cobered there. If its not, theres a link to send the ipod back. You give them a name and adress, they mail you a box. You put the ipod in the box and put that in a mail box Then wait about a week. They’ll send you a new one. It doesn’t matter where you buy it from. The case is still the same.
