Joomla Internal Server Error?

Question by justme: Joomla Internal Server Error?
Hi,

I have just installed Joomla on my Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 computer. With the following programs:

IIS (Internet Information Services) 7
MySQL 5.1
PHP 5.2.8
and Joomla 1.58.

After spending hours watching tutorials on how to set the computer up for Joomla i was relieved when I finally saw the Installation webpage. All the ‘things’ it checks for initially where fine. So I went on ahead entering all of the information required for installation. However I came to the page where you have to enter your email address, password etc. which I did and pressed the button to continue on then I comes up with 500 Internal Server Error. How can I fix this to finish the installation and start using Joomla?

No matter what I do I can’t seen to bypass It.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you map IIS to use the PHP?
