How do I put photo files on to a memory stick from a windows 98 pc with usb ports?

Question by j.gallon90: How do I put photo files on to a memory stick from a windows 98 pc with usb ports?
I have tried to load photo files onto a 1gb memory stick from a windows 98 pc to move to a windows XP pc. The 98 pc recognises the stick but I cannot find any instructions to move or copy to the memory stick.

Go to my computer and open up the drive by double clicking it.

Open another window where the files are, copy and paste them on the usb stick.
