I have been trying to connect my Pc to the internet. I have Connect my laptop to the internet. I just can’t connect my PC to the internet.

Well, without any further details, I can only go by what you have written. It is like having a lamp and saying you are using the on/off switch but the light isn’t lighting….. you need to plug it it.

With the Internet, you have to have an Internet Service Provider to “plug in to”. There are many varieties. DSL, Cable, Cell, Satellite….. Pick one and then follow the instruction to get it connected.

If you still have a problem, then if you are going to ask for help, please be very specific about what you have, how you have it connected, exactly what you have tried already, and exactly what happened when you tried it, including message and any lights and what they were doing on your connection equipment.

    Unfortunately, you cannot connect a PC to “the Internet”. You can connect it to a router which is connected to a modem which is connected to a switch which is connected to a router which is itself connected to the Internet. So… you connected your PC to “something” — unless you tell people what that “thing” is (a cable modem, a router, a wireless access point, a DSL modem, a phone jack, a network switch…) nobody will be able to help.
