it shouldnt have cause if ur computer broke, its like it shut down. so its technically like turning off ur comp with ur ipod in… ur ipod should still work

but no, not that i know of, just you cant sync songs.
UNLESS there is some mutant virus that affects ANY electronic device or hardware…..

Mine went blank and like died or something once when unplugged. i let the battery die and then charged it and it was fine.
no, it doenst have to mean that. my computer crashed when I had my Ipod connected to it and it was fine.
i dont really think so….is your ipod frozen?….hold the middle button and the menu button for a couple seconds…it will restart your ipod then it will work again
