Question by black_rx20022002: Any photoshop expert, please help, painting a cartoon figure?
Please have a look:

I drew this picture, and scan it into the computer.
When I start coloring it, I try to put the mask-face look like metallic..
Surely i’d fail….

Can somebody tell me how to correct the following problem:

1.So many white dot thingy, how to get rid of it? (I tried smudge tool, didn’t do any good..)

2. Notice the “tatoo” on the mask doesn’t quite match the color on the mask. How do fix it ? (Right now, the tatoo and the the mask is 2 layer..)

Are there any good tutorial web site for coloring??

In my experience you get these “White dots” when you cut the image out of its original picture using the “Magic Wand” tool or use the Wand inside the picture.

The only option is to zoom closer and fill the pixel with the color of the nearest pixel using the brush at size 2 or 3..

Regarding the tattoo, all you have to do is to use the darkest of the metallic colour and fill that. So you will actually get the metallic look. Using a judicial streaks of white will give the reflective look of a metal.
