My laptop was recently infected by the “Antivir Solution Pro” virus, which blocked me from accessing any internet pages as well as forbidding me from opening programs, so I quickly found a tutorial informing me on how to remove it on the main computer, so, i got back on to the laptop and followed the tutorial, but after the whole “F8 — Safe mode with Networking — Tools — Internet Options — LAN settings — Uncheck Proxy server box — OK” I was unable to download the removal software from the tutorial website as whilst in “Safe Mode with Networking” I am completely unable to connect to the Internet, no matter which wireless network I successfully connected to, it would always only access “Local Only” connection, but in the virus-torn “Normal Mode” I can connect easily to the Internet, any suggestions or responses would be appreciated

Also, if it makes any differance whatsoever, I use Windows Vista.

You might have rootkit or there is a problem with DNS server. Try repairing connection, and set DNS servers manually to google ones ( 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4). If it fails, download removal software to usb disk and run from there.
