Bravo. I have been working with computers since my first Altair back in High School. It was in kit form and I won it at a science fair. I have been working in the field ever since. Almost 28 years. I have seen and worked with everything from PCs to Atari STs, to the old Altair. However, as much as I love the field I have to say that the industry is becoming saturated with trained techs now. Jobs are hard to find, but a lot of High Schools are doing CCNE, MCSE, and A++ courses as mandatory classes now. The result is even more people trained for the tech jobs that are out there. My best advice is that if you really want work in the field, get one heck of a college degree, and not some measly Bachelors either, go for a masters or doctorate. And make sure to find yourself a niche where there aren’t already a million plus guys vying for the same few thousand jobs. I’m disabled now, and pretty much out of the market, but it’s good to hear that there are still some kids out there with some brains. Good luck.

  2. Some people have just got it and some dont. Talent is something you cannot explain. Just accept the gift you have and continue to help people with it. You will acquire many friends, but be careful, dont let them use you. Teach them how to do it for themselves. good luck
