Question by ….: Ipod problems! Cant restore or upload songs!?
Ive had ipod problems for a long time already. Everytime i put music and videos in it, it uploads. Then when it says its done i check my ipod and nothings in it! No songs, no vidoes, nothing. Then I replug it into the computer and it tells me to restore it. And I put songs and the same thing happens again. So i took it to be repaired. They added some software but sed that they cant do anything about it, and that I have to input the songs 100 at a time.( I have 1500 songs) So thats what i did. and it worked. but my ipod lags a lot ( even before i fixed it) but i forgot to tell the repair guy. Then once it screwed up again, and i couldnt add all my songs just most of them… and i didnt even put videos. So then i didnt use it and used my phone. now my phones broken… so i have to try and use my ipod again. it worked yesterday. i put 900 songs before it screwed up. And then i keep trying to restore it, but when i plug my ipod into my computer my itunes freezes. then when i close the itunes (with my ipod still plugged in) and try to open up itunes again, it doenst open up. I have to disconnect the ipod, reset it, open up itunes and plug my ipod back. Everytime i plug my ipod in my computer it offers to do a disk check thingy or smth. And the only way the restore thingy pops up is if i click yes to the disk check. But then just now when i clicked restore this message popped up.

The ipod “iPod” cannot be restorede because it contains files that are in use by another application.

what do i do?!?! how can i put at least some of my songs back in the ipod???

i remember that everytime i upload songs into my ipod, only the songs that are on the computer and not on the external hard drive upload first. then after i reconnect the external hard drive the songs upload….
