Help with Corel Photo Paint 8?
Question by Anna R: Help with Corel Photo Paint 8?
Just installed on my computer. I am not an expert by any means…I can’t even figure out how to resize the picture (when I pull up the pic it’s huge–don’t know how to resize it) on the screen or resize so it’s not such a huge file. I also don’t know anything about the editing. I took the tutorial but it is for way more advanced stuff than I am prepared to do right now. I just use the photo programs to edit my personal pictures of my little boy. I am lost, though, and would appreciate any help or suggestions. THANKS!!!

Start with tutorials for beginners at this site:
http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/photopainttutorialsbasic/Basics_Tutorials_for_the_Tools_and_Interface_of_PhotoPaint.htm
The “Rotate Crop Resize” link might be just what you need.
Then one level up at http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/photopaint/Corel_PhotoPaint_User_Resources.htm
There are many other resources on the web for people just starting out with Corel. Here are some:
http://www.visionary-voyager.com.au/corel/photopaint/
http://www.huntfor.com/design/tutorials/photopaint.htm

Best of luck!
