Is it safe for a video card to be going at this rate.?

Question by Shawn: Is it safe for a video card to be going at this rate.?
Alright, Recently I have heard My computer fan go really really loud, And I’ve asked couple friends and they told me it’s not that safe for the computer. Should I clean it? And if so, Can you please give me a tutorial link on how to do it, As I do not feel like paying 250$ On a computer cleaner, That I could do myself.

1. Turn off computer
2. Remove graphics card from slot
3. Use vacuum cleaner to remove dust from fan or use compressed air if you have it. You could also stick some cotton wool between the blades then twist it around to pick up all the dust stuck inside the fan.
4. If the blades of the heatsink are exposed then do your best to remove dust from them too.
5. Put card back in.

Observe the usual antistatic precautions at all times.

  1. Make sure your grounded. You don’t want any ESD to damage your components. Now If its the fan that is really clogged up with dust then get a pair of tweezers and pull the really thick pieces of dust out of the fan. After you get the really big parts use some canned air to blow out the smaller pieces. Fan is now clean. Boot her up and see how she sounds.
