Question by henry: Is there a way to transfer files from a non-internet connected computer to an internet connected computer?
The non-internet computer has a broken device driver and is unable to get Windows other than in safe mode. Thanks.

you can put the files on a CD or USB drive. Or you may be able to get a USB cord to connect both computers and transfer files directly

Question by hillz007: i have a new phone – LG KF510 – i can connect to pc – but how do i send games that i downloaded to the phone.
as i sed i have a LG KF510 – i know the basic controls and how to connect to the computer.
i have the main lg pc connection – but lg are not so good so they dont have a proper phone suite. they only have something to transfer your phone numbers and all that to your phone. and read your texts. but they have NOTHING for transferring games and photos and videos and music. i can manage to send vids, songs, and phots because the computer recognises the phone and memoree card as an external drive. but there is NOTHING to send games to the phone with. Btw i have a memory card, a usb data cable that works, the driver needed and the lg computer connection thing. do i need any other software to send games. can i have a thorough tutorial pleese. thanks a lot in advance. and i hope you can help.

When your phone gets recognised as a “Removable Disk” in my computer OPEN it and CREATE a “Games” folder and copy the game to it after that open the same folder on your phone and you should be able to install the game on your phone!!! The same goes of apps too!!!

Question by milan: I need C++ Help?
OK, so i wanted to write C++ on OSX. Someone told me to install Xcode, so I did. I opened it up, opened up a new C++ file, and typed a simple program from a tutorial. However, I can’t compile it! The menu option for compile is grayed out (in fact all of the build tools are). Why can’t I compile it?

Sorry, I have never programmed before (i have only done web design and XML; and a one-week crash course in computer class on C programming). In computer class we had a program (Borlan C or something) where we typed in our code, pressed compile, and ran the programs. That is the extent of my knowledge. Why won’t Xcode let me do that, and how do I get it to let me?!?

OSX Tiger come with gcc compiler (thats what i read).

I downloaded the Xcode 900mb file. On the developer website, it just lists Xcode, it doesn’t have a download for Xcode tools.

I guess you didn’t install a compiler like gcc for example. Xcode doesn’t come with a prebuilt compiler so you must install it afterwards.
Gcc is included with Xcode Tools so installing this should fix it.

I was browsing for a game recently and my computer was bombarded by a computer protection scam. The windows and icons used by the creators of the scam were fairly convincing but the biased words they wrote in the interface gave it away. Several windows popped up and I..well I freaked. :/ I tried looking for, what my limited knowledge of viruses considers, suspicious processes and services in the task manager to stop them. This did not work. I found the suspicious processes, but the virus had disabled the “go to service” function of my task manager and many if not most service names are just jumbled characters to me. So that fell through. I then moved to old reliable – Malwarebytes. Turns out this virus is a real sweetheart and was designed to infect and integrate itself with REAL Windows files and processes. I didn’t recognize these obscure Windows processes and the were taking up unusual amounts of my computer’s resources so I went to their folder locations and deleted them..so naturally my system isn’t at 100% now. :/
Later I found a site which had a tutorial for how to take care of this virus without manually deleting files. So I followed it and worked around the virus to use Malwarebytes. It worked, I scanned my comp., but now I need help finding out how to repair the damage I did. :/
I know I made a stupid move…but what’s worse is that I haven’t taken a backup – ever. My Lenovo R61i was acquired through a school program and I haven’t had the money to buy an external hard drive or even the disks for back ups. I would prefer not to have to completely re-image my computer as the IT department tends to wipe almost everything from the HD (though I am thankful for the services offered ). I know it’s important, but I can’t remember all the dlls and other files I deleted. I recall a “twunk_32″….but that’s about it. :/
If anyone has any knowledge of the Windows files that are affected by this virus I’d would be appreciative of any sharing of this knowledge.

Uh oh, not sure if you can fix that. Sorry, but you may have to reinstall windows. Check other forums other than here, this forums kinda uselss now a days

I’ve *looked* at other answers for this question but where some weren’t clear, others were dead-ends completely. I’ve looked at the tutorial for manual removal several times but nothing has worked. The manual removal tutorial says to edit the registry values and then unregister a lan.dll file via Run -> cmd… It doesn’t say what to change the registry value to, and when I try to unregister the lan.dll file my computer says it can’t find it. I do have Malwarebyte’s Anti-Malware and ran both a quick scan and a full scan. It recognizes the malware but when I reboot my computer as it prompts me to, Personal Guard 2009 pops back up again! I also tried to enter safe mode with networking so that I could run malwarebytes through that, but my computer won’t let me, it just keeps restarting itself and tells me there’s an error. I really don’t want to reformat, isn’t there anything else I can do? I’m running on Windows XP if it helps… I’ll volunteer any other information as needed. I’m just at the end of my rope and am tired of sites trying to sell me things to get rid of this!

Have you turned off the system restore, and then run the mbam program in safe mode. When done, turn system restore program back on.

Ok. First u need ifile from cydia. U will Also need instalous or safari downloader also from cydia. Then go to the website and click to download the files. Once downloaded go to ifile and go to library then downloads. The zip file will be there. Go into it and extract the file. Then once extracted go back to ur downloads and find the file. Copy it and go back to the home spot. ( button on bottom of screen ). Then go to applications and find cw-gunner. The go to document and paste. It will ask to overite. Click overite file. Then ir done. Get out of ifile go to the game. Click load game. Then ur good to go. Ps the game will always go back to lvl one. No matter what

Im 14, with no programming experience, just saying, so heres my idea

MMO, for those of you who dont know, is a Massively Multiplayer Online game.

Usually, when i have nothing better to do, and im bored of PS3, i get on the computer and hunt down an MMO. With MMOs, you get many genres, fantasy, shooter, social, sci-fi, space, futuristic, medieval, stuff like that. Usually i like to play the more futuristic MMOs, because the fantasy/medieval crap is super gay.

Well anyways, heres the game idea: the year is 5074, the human race has escaped the confines of Earth and have begun to colonize the galaxy. Colonization became necessary back in the year 2130, due to lack of resources on Earth and over population. So governments began to merge efforts to gather resources from around the solar system in order to build colony ships, stripping the moon almost bare, and depleting most of the asteroid belt.

Once the ships were built, 2/3 of the earths 16 billion inhabitants boarded the massive ships and prepared for the long journeys to their target planets, the longest voyage taking around 500 years in real time, about 20 or so years in near lightspeed times.

On the way, smaller ships leave the worldship to diverge to other star systems in order to cover a larger distance.

It is now the year 2600, all colonies are in place, (im going to borrow an idea from Ender’s Game, the ansible radio) and the human race is practically an empire, occupying 150 star systems in our arm of the galaxy. ~no this is where i need help~ The government *i need help with names* back on Earth that governs all of the colonies has now discovered a method of traveling faster than the speed of light, able to appear anywhere almost instantly, as if magic. Basically, you tear through the space and time fabric, leave the universe, so that your are outside of it, then the computer opens the fabric and places you at your destination, thus enabling us to go anywhere, while also being efficient.

With this new technology the human race could go anywhere in the galaxy, and the universe at that, instantaneously. So fast forward to a few years before your game starts.

The central government has began to crumble. The people have begun to form factions, all trying to achieve economic domination and political domination. ~once i get enough feedback, ill create the factions~

Now, you enter the game. You are in an medical bay in one of the old worldships, now being used as a space station. You have been in a coma for 100 years, due to a space battle with a mercenary fleet around Canis Majoris. After a couple years in a comatose state, your wife/husband decided to place you in cryo. After a couple of year in, your wife/husband died from cancer, leaving you unattended until a medbay officer needs the cryo unit you are in due to overcrowding.

Once you thaw out, you awaken, disoriented and with no memory. After a few minutes you begin hearing a voice in your head, and your vision blurs, and what appears to be a computer screen replaces your sight. It is you AI companion, which briefs you on what happened, where you are and puts you through a tutorial. Once out of the tutorial, you can choose you player type, merchant, miner, politician, police, soldier, or mercenary, then you choose your faction. Once you begin you can either start making some money and leveling up, or test your fighting skills in PVP.

In this game, you can buy any clothes you want, armor, weapons, and once you reach level 20, you can buy your own ship, produce items, mine asteroids, destroy enemy factions *not permanantly*, and do whatever you want really, i plan to revolutionize MMOs.

ignore ricky i thin your idea is geat a great story line and a great idea creeate a new life on a new planet with tjhat you could also do is gettter older .. like start at the age of 14-15 and your character dies at the age of 60-70 depending on how your life went lol .. great i love it deffinately wonna play it if it is published as agame
